UNS C83600 alloy is a leaded red brass copper casting alloy. Main ingredients: Copper (Cu) as the matrix, the content is usually about 84.0% - 86.0%.

Tin (Sn) content is generally 3.0% - 4.0%, which can improve the strength, hardness and corrosion resistance of the alloy.
Zinc (Zn) content is 8.0% - 11.0%, which can improve the casting performance and mechanical properties of the alloy.
Lead (Pb) content is 1.5% - 2.5%, which can improve the cutting performance of the alloy.
It also contains a small amount of iron (Fe), phosphorus (P) and other elements, which play a role in refining grains and improving strength.

Mechanical Manufacturing: Copper Casting Alloy is often used to manufacture various mechanical parts, such as bearings, bushings, gears, etc. Its good wear resistance and mechanical properties can ensure the stable operation of parts during work.
Plumbing Equipment: C836 Leaded red brass can be used to manufacture faucets, valves, pipe fittings, etc. It has strong corrosion resistance and can ensure that it will not rust or corrode in an environment with long-term contact with water.
Electrical Equipment: Due to its good electrical and thermal conductivity, it can be used to manufacture electrical connection parts, radiators, etc.

Physical properties: Density is about 8.7 - 8.9g/cm³, thermal conductivity is high, about 105 - 125W/(m・K) at room temperature, and has good conductivity.
Mechanical properties: Tensile strength is generally around 290 - 370MPa, yield strength is about 125 - 170MPa, elongation is 25% - 35%, Brinell hardness is between 70 - 90HB, with good strength and toughness.
Corrosion resistance: It has good corrosion resistance to the atmosphere, fresh water, seawater and many chemical substances, and can resist the erosion of corrosive media to a certain extent.
