"International standardization" refers to the standardization activities carried out by many countries, organizations or groups in the international scope. Its purpose is to study, formulate and promote the use of internationally unified standards, coordinate standardization activities in various countries or regions, and conduct discussions and exchange experiences on standardization-related matters. At present, in the International Organization for Standardization ISO, there are 8 technical committees related to the non-ferrous metal industry, namely: ISO/TC18 "Zinc and Zinc Alloys", TC26 "Copper and Copper Alloys", TC79 "Light Metals and Alloys", TC119 "Powder Metallurgy", TC129 "Bauxite Ore", TC155 "Nickel and Nickel Alloy", TC183 "Copper, Lead, Zinc, Nickel Concentrate" and TC226 "Raw Materials for Primary Aluminum Production".
